Hugla is a hydropower plant in Huglaelva in the Ovrisdalen valley, located in Vik municipality in Vestland county. The power plant is an unregulated, purely run-of-river power plant and was the first power plant Bystøl AS engineered, with excellent results.

Technical information

The power plant uses a fall height of approximately 142 metres and has a 1.5 MW Francis turbine that provides an annual power production of approximately 5.5 GWh of renewable energy.
The technical installation is of high quality and easy to service.
The power plant is located in an area with relatively high winter production.
There are roads leading to both the power plant and intake.
