Nyvikelva power plant

The Nyvikelva power plant is located in Røyrvik municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county and utilises a 40.4 km2 catchment area in the hills east of Limingen. The intake is downstream from Gåsvatnet lake.

The power plant has an annual power production of about 6 GWh, which corresponds with electricity consumption for around 300 households.

The power plant was a collaborative project between NTE Energi AS and Norsk Grønnkraft AS, and later NGK Utbygging AS. Namsskoganbygg AS was responsible for the building, while Isachsen Entreprenør AS had responsibility for the construction work.

Waterway equipment was supplied by Br.Dahl AS, while Spetals Verk AS supplied the electromechanical equipment for the power plant.

The power plant was put into operation on 29 April 2015. Småkraft AS took over the plant once it was completed.
