Ryssdal power plant

This power plant, which is a “sister project” to the Jordal power plant, is located in Sunndal municipality in the county of Møre og Romsdal. The power plant was built by Norsk Grønnkraft and put into operation in 2005.

The Ryssdal power plant, like the Jordal power plant, is a technically and architecturally an excellent project that has received a lot of positive feedback. The power plant also differs from other power plants in that it has two intake dams.
The Ryssdal power plant is now owned and operated by Småkraft AS.
