Skravlåga power plant

The Skravlåga river and accompanying catchment area is located in Vefsn municipality, Nordland county. Skravlåga lies southeast of the Toven mountain massif, with a water intake about 4 km west of Elsfjord centre. Skravlåga flows out to the sea, about 1 km northwest of Elsfjord centre.

The intake is at elevation 263 and the outflow is at elevation 4, which gives a total fall height of 259 metres. The waterway consists of a buried penstock that is nearly 4 km in length.

The power station stands pm the ground just above outlet of the Skravlåga river into the sea by the existing harbour.

Tore Løkke has been the general contractor throughout the implementation of the project. Electricomechanical equipment was supplied by Spetals Verk, and Brødrene Dahl supplied the waterway equipment.
